How to Grill Mushrooms
Mushroom burgers are a great way to shake up an average barbeque. Try larger varieties like portabellas and shitakes, and marinate them in balsamic vinegar or soy sauce first for even more flavor.
To grill mushrooms, brush the caps and stems with oil and season with salt and pepper. Place on the grill four to six inches from the heat source and cook for four to six minutes per side, brushing with oil once or twice.
To make grilled mushrooms into burgers, serve in hamburger buns with toppings to taste. Try this recipe for Portabella Burgers on for size!
