The Mushroom Good Agricultural Practices (MGAP) program is a commodity-specific audit developed by the USDA and national in scope, and its standards are consistent with current food safety guidelines outlined by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
CF Fresh growers were among the first to implement MGAPs, and all of our mushroom farms have continually passed MGAP audits. Our food safety team has even set up in-house training to ensure that we continue to meet the industry’s exacting standards.
